So I did a PPT where I was the seller. A friend of mine bought an XD9 off of me and she called me saying that her 4473 did not go through. So I called the FFL (Ammo Bros. Riverside) to see if I could go pick up the gun. They said they'd call me back and let me know, but I never received a call. I called back yesterday and they said to call back Wednesday. Has anyone been through this before? Did you have trouble getting your gun back?

Try to speak to Travis. He's real cool guy (he's also the manager). Bought a few firearms at that location

If DROS is rejected, they have to re-DROS back to you. 10 day wait applies.
Her "4473" was rejected?
That paper goes nowhere.
It would be the DROS and the FFL would receive notice of the DROS hold.
Manager will know how to handle it.- Rich

In a PPT, if the buyer is rejected, DOJ does an instant check on the seller before informing the FFL about the buyer-rejection. If the seller is OK, DOJ tells the FFL to return the firearm to the seller immediately. there is no DROS for the seller, no 10-day wait. the most the seller has to do is fill out a 4473.
if the seller is not-OK, and CADOJ knows this before they let the FFL know that the buyer was delayed, they then tell the FFL that both the buyer and seller are denied and that they are supposed to turn the firearm over to the local LEA.Jack
Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
