    Ricochets..............

I have been hit more times than I care to remember....

But this is an interesting video on Ricochets...

That's good stuff. I like his videos and I've been wanting to get some steel to shoot but he didn't do much with the guns straight on. That's where the problem comes in.

There was a Calgunner that posted several months ago about being hit by a ricochet that came off an old bathtub or something. As I remember it was a very serious injury and he was lucky to survive. I'm sure it was a freak incident, but should serve as a reminder that they do happen.

I was hit in the upper lip by something once when shooting some old cinder blocks with my .45 from maybe 10 or 20 yards. I don't know what it was but it didn't hurt or draw blood, just definitely noticeable when it happened.

I got copper frag to the upper lip a few weeks ago at an indoor range. Bled like a pig but no permanant damage. Looked like the guy next to me hit the lane devider and shattered the bullet. Sucks, I was'nt even shooting but observing the wife who was reloading at the time.

Ricochets do happen, but it is an odd occurrence and probably not nearly as lethal as we think.

I almost got hit in the face with a 180grain ricochet. Buzzed right by my head and imbedded it self in the wall right behind me...scary
