Guns that could only be used for one thing, killing.
I've got a dollar that says that MOST of you have guns. I've got another dollar that says that those of you that DO have guns are using them regularly. I've got another dollar that says none of you who are using the guns regularly have used them for killing.

    So who's got my $3?

Oh...and Change.org has such sophomoric writers that they are laughable. Their liberal bias is so manifestly apparent it's like boobs bouncing when a well-endowed female is walking in spike heels. You just can't miss it.

And when I say "liberal bias" I mean lack of any common sense and complete disregard of any facts relevant to their story.

      yep...

Anyway; it's like me saying no liberal magazines... since they're only useful for one thing. The stupid. Why are we selling magazines glorifying the stupid?

Which ties in the free speech and thought control attempt they are doing...

None of us or our evil guns are killing anyone.... geeesh. So stupid...

At a base I was once stationed at the female XO told the exchange to stop selling gun magazines because they are "violent". Ummm and you're in the military?

I would take that bet for a whole lot more than $3. Calguns has a LOT of people in it. There are also a LOT of cops and military. I would call it almost a statistical impossibility that ZERO CGN members have ever used a gun to kill somebody.

            Send me the money.
I have firearms(guns to some). Have had them since I was a kid.
I use my firearms regularly. I have most of my life.
I have used, do use and will continue to use mine for killing. I have the photos and mounts in my home.

Did any of you go into one of those Haggens? They overpriced everything by 50-%100!!!!!!
Went in literally for 4 things that equated to over $30!!!!!
Small things like veggies cereal and milk. Too overpriced. Even the employees were disappointed looking.

I went to the going out of business sale at the Haggen next to Chino Hills Turners and picked up a few things like Van de Kamps fish and Steakums. The Tuesday Morning there I think is going belly up. I went to a Fresh and Easy going under sale it blew. That store always sucked.

The other chains were totally scared when they came in as Tesco is a major player in the UK. Once I stepped in to one I knew they had nothing to fear. The locations were sometimes wrong and did not stock what the locals wanted. I knew would be a matter of time before they dissolved.

                  There are liberal magazines?

Salon, Verge, and HuffintonCompost are all online only now.
Time and Newsleak, but they masquerade as news magazines.

The libs can't keep a solid radio network going, and they struggle to maintain their XM channel.

There are multiple conservative radio networks AND XM channels... yet the libs believe they have the support of the public.

Vons used to be where the bowling alley is, Ralphs was where Haggen was.
Ralph's closed and Vons moved in... this was a while after Alpha Beta left and the 99c store moved in.

Only grocery stores left are Albertsons on Grand or Central, and the POS Staters on Riverside unless you want to drive to Eastvale.
Clark's is decent for quality food, but like Sprouts, too expensive for "EDC"

                    Any other suggestions?

Our favorite store down the street was Albertsons and we would shop there all the time. Once hagens took it over we shopped there one and last time. Everything was overpriced. It turned into a ghostown after that and I said sure enough they'll fold up. Now the brain trusts are going to put in another useless store smart and final. Can't wait till that one folds as well. I'm still pissed off they took our Albertsons away!

Smart & Final isn't going to fold.
They are friggin HUGE and have supplied canned goods for schools and other institutions for as long as I've been around.

But they are not a normal "grocery store"... they are more like a small Costco.
Primarily large quantity canned goods and banquet supplies.

Unless they are intending to expand their business model to individual families, they aren't even in the same market as Albertsons.

I have a litmus test for any retailer: if they sell magazines and do not sell gun magazines, then they do not want my business. I let them know why I will not be shopping in their store. I do so politely and in person when possible.

I'm not local. I only went to the sale because I happened to notice it in my travels. I am constantly on the prowl in many areas of SoCal for off list handguns and used gun deals. Those Lugers that are now in the fine gun room section of the Chino Hills Turners are from the Reseda Turners.

They have languished unsold for many years and will continue to not sell. I have eaten at most places that are by gunshops. The Philly cheesesteak place by that Turners is not too bad.

I remember asking about lack of gun magazines a couple of times a long time ago. They claimed in those cases it was because they weren't selling well. I rarely read gun magazines anymore though. In the old days I read them voraciously though.
