BLM land near LA

I know that people are reluctant to share spots, but I have friends coming in from out of town over the holiday, and they'd like to go outdoors and do some shooting.

Any general areas that would suitable in Socal? I'm located in West LA. The closer the better.

Oak tree or Angeles crest is your best choice. Sorry don't know any BLM.

Angeles shooting range or Burro Canyon.

You have to go out past Barstow I think for BLM, not worth it IMO.

I'm pondering going out to Barstow after the 25th, I got the week in between the holidays off. If I go, I'll shoot you a pm to see if you want to tag along.

BLM land is rosamond. Haven't got out there yet but I have friends that live out there and shoot just about every weekend.
