What gun started it all for you

My first gun i bought was a Mossberg 715T tactical 22lr . Yes a very humble beginning for sure. I did all the usual tactical stuff to it. Then it was two more 22 rifles. A Savage bolt and a savage simi auto for my two grandsons.
I was at a pawn shop and found a Romanian M-44 Mosin Nagant carbine . they gave me 175 for the Mossberg tac 22 and i moved on.I still have the Savage Mark 2 heavy barrel 22lr . it is very accurate but now i prefer shooting Military Surplus C&R rifles. That humble tac 22 got me hooked on shooting at 64 years old. Four years later i have bought, traded, sold maybe 40 rifles . So you never know what will spark your interest.

I'm an old guy my first gun was a Daisy bb gun when I was 8.

Remington 870 Express 12 gauge 20" barrel with rifle sights purchased in 1992. It was brand new and came with Choate folding stock and extended magazine already installed by Weissers Sporting Goods in National City. They threw the OEM wood stock and foregrip in the factory box.

I added a "riot" barrel shroud and a side saddle; made an already heavy and unbalanced gun even heavier and unwieldy.

I had to keep it oiled or it would rust under my bed.

Ended up selling it and not really missing it other than the fact it was my first firearm purchased.
