    stripped OLL question

    Hi Gang,

When you purchase an OLL ( AR in particuler ) that is bare naked, Can you get it thru DOJ with no BB on it or any of that crap. I'm taking a hollow frame. I want to get one of these for a custom build down the road but I do not want problems because there is none of that Cal legal **** on it.

A stripped OLL receiver is just that - and not an AW.

FFLs have been selling bare OLL receivers for 3 years.

Also, long guns/receivers are not registered per se, so the DOJ likely really has no idea what you're buying unless they actually inspect the dealer's books.
