Bomb Threat in Gun Free Zones LAUSD

ALL LAUSD schools, 900 campuses, 700,000 students closed due to a "Credible Threat" at ALL schools.

Gun Free Zones are a JOKE.

So Today at 900 schools across the city are in a Police State and Authorities won't say exactly what the threat is or where it is.

So...I expect that campuses will be walked and nothing will be found. A few kids backpacks will likely be blown up by frightened LAPD who can't wait to play with their toys.

I am happy to open any box or bag that they are afraid to open.

The inability of Law Enforcement to honestly alert the public is disturbing. WE are the first responders. WE are the fabric of society.

I live between an elementary and middle school and I deserve to know WHAT the THREAT IS.

    The Terrorists are winning.

Not to argue with you but I think law enforcement have better resources to track this kind of threat. Guns won't stop this threat, but being vigilant will.

An e-mail from overseas to a school board member is what I'm hearing . The news will turn this into 12 hours of prime time TV. Lots of talking with little real information.

They say about a "backpack threat" warning. It has nothing to do with GFSZ.

The problem is that the Gun Free Zones have not been co-designated Bomb Free Zones.

We need to contact our legislators and demand that this oversight be fixed immediately.

Press Conference doesn't make me feel any safer if this is the response and justification for the actions they are taking. The mobilization is overkill. All you need to do is have the Facilities managers or Custodians walk the campuses...ALL 900 of them. IF there is a package or backpack they feel uncomfortable opening, you get someone who will.

An they won't divulge information, because we, the children, surfs aren't capable of hearing it...Sorry Don't treat me like a child.

Failure to answer questions doesn't work for me when you do

Why don't they just put up a bunch of "No Bombs Allowed" signs?

According to the lib's, that fixes everything...

And...coincidentally, Kids in LAUSD were taking finals this week before winter break. Info came from a student not LE, Mayor, Superintendent or School board, who, "wouldn't answer ANY questions. Bill Bratton got the similar or same threat and is deeming it a Hoax and investigating it accordingly.

News this morning said the superintendent wanted ALL schools searched. Is that even possible? How long will it take to search 900 schools? Weeks?

I had to pick up my daughter from school today and my wife, who is an administrator is out there. "WE" as you stated are not the first responder, that is what law enforcement is for, they are the first responder and then the national guard.

When I said WE I meant the people experiencing the event who could first respond, I wasn't referring to your or I. In an explosion and shooting there are people there before LE or Medical arrive.
