If you see someone who is handling a firearm in an unsafe manner, please! Let them know and don't be afraid that you may offend them.....In most cased, they will thank you for it!
I was with a group shooting in the woods and unfortunately I was the jackass who made a few handling errors like sweeping and handling my firearm behind the firing line. I wasn't aware of this and felt very badly days later when a couple of people told me about it.
I went from feeling badly to outright pissed! Personally, my mistakes can have grave consequences. It's the responsibility of the people in the group to point out mistakes. I expected someone to come to me and tell me that I'm handling the firearm in an unsafe manner. I would totally be grateful to the person.
So do you tell the guy he's unsafe or just let it go or move away from him?
