      Randall has covered all the important tech, but the important take home message here is that it's all about choosing the right SYSTEM.

      Proper gas length for the barrel, port size, buffer and carrier weight, etc.

      Many of the problems discussed out there are from the mixture of the wrong stuff.

      Randall knows what he's doing. All of the stuff I've had him do runs with everything.

        You never do until you REALLY get into it.
        I REALLY got into it quite a while back and asked the right questions of the right people, then combined it with the available materials and my own observances while developing custom barrels.

          Randall alone makes this board required reading for me. Every once in a while he holds forth and and I find out how much I still have to learn about guns.
