I have a deer rifle that was bought in the mid-80's, don't hunt much any moe' (no time really). I shoot mostly C&R guns nowadays. So what's thing worth?

    (serious answers only please)

    Make: Winchester
    Model: 70 Featherweight
    Cal: .270
    Scope: 3X9 Burris
    Round Count: Unknown
    Condition: Awesome Shape

    Certified Bambi Killer!

I was going to give this to my son but I he doesn't show much interest in hunting.
It also holds a ton of sentimental memories.

Could you snap a pic of the other side where your mounts mount to the receiver? i have a similar style rifle (pre 64 in 30.06) that i got from my grandfather and those mounts alone are worth a small fortune.
