Is an Anti-Assault Weapon a good thing?

When I had hair it was blond

The recent decision of the Politically Correct to determine that a bolt action Mauser '98 (as in 1898) is an assault weapon got me to thinking.

The Mauser '98 was actually and Anti-Assault Weapon. So is that a good rifle or bad rifle?

These were the guys doing the "Assault" with their Assault Horses, Assault boots, Assault Leggings, Assault Hats, Assault Lever action rifles and Assault six-shooters.

I really like the guy in the middle with his Assault Suspenders.

To answer your question. . .yes or no? I may have a mauser type rifle. Could I be in trouble?

Let's run with it! If a Mauser qualifies as an assault rifle now, then it's not much of a stretch to define a flintlock musket as an assault rifle as well, is it?

Why would anyone need a gun with the capacity to fire as many as three bullets a minute? That's just crazy!
