Got my complete kit today with 80% lower and have to say it is a sweet kit. Stainless steel barrel, anodized lower and much more. $339 with free shipping was a steal I might say....

I don't think he has to, just needs mag lock and ten round mag. I think SSE was the only way to buy a completed one.

It has to be assembled as a break-top or bolt-action. If I remember correctly, Franklin had an issue with CADOJ on a similar matter, even though their SE-SSP was designed as self-extracting single shot.

The way I did it was remove the floor plate of a 10 round mag, remove the spring, stuff it full of crap so the follower won't go down, insert the now 0 round mag, then attach the upper to complete the assembly. Then am free to remove the 0 round mag and use 10 rounders. YMMV IANAL

You may not legally manufacture an unsafe handgun. An off-roster semi-auto handgun is deemed unsafe.
