I have no idea what it is or what it's worth, but I'll give you $300.00 for it.
Just kidding, sort of, it's probably worth more.Only slaves don't need guns

What makes you think it's a Pistol caliber? 44/40 or 38/40? Looks like it's been wire brushed which would kill any value it may have.Originally Posted by OCEquestrian View Post

I dont think it has been wire brushed. The coating on it looks like it came that way, almost like a galvanized coating almost.Comment

I have not cleaned it at all. My opinion of the metal is, I dont think it is quality steel, it looks like cast. It is an extremely heavy rifle for its size.Comment

That looks like a non-firing replica. Not worth much. For Sale: Off Roster Handgun Moving Sale

It might be one of these. 1866 non firing replica.
irh
This M1866 Lever-Action Repeating Rifle was a legend of the Old West. The lever action works just like the original. Hanging on your wall or over the fireplace, people will think it's the real thing. This unique replica gun has an antique gray finish and wooden stock and foregrip. The 1866 was only available in .44 caliber rimfire cartridge at first, and the more modern centerfire cartridges were added to the production line later. Its tubular magazine was located underneath the barrel. This non-firing version clearly demonstrates the workings of the lever-action loading system.Comment

I agree it looks like a Denix of Spain, 1866 Western non firing replica
Reproduction of a carbine, made of metal and wood, with simulated loading and firing mechanism. The Model 1866 was nicknamed "Yellow Boy" due to its ...
Either that, or it's a real Model 66 chambered in 44 Henry rimfire
