How much will the panic increase firearms value.

I wonder what the new norm price for ars will be. I have one to sell and couple colt 38 spl revolvers & over under 12 gauge. I never shoot. Should I wait for election or new bills to be announced? We will see. Time to thin out the herd and keep the best.

Do not think there will be much of a difference on revolvers and O/U shotguns due to panic. The Colts may appreciate over time better thou.

I've already seen price increases on gunbroker over the past couple days.

That's just people upping their ad price to see if they get a hit. I highly doubt they are selling for inflated prices. Here in normal America the prices haven't changed. Ammo is in stock, and the cases are full of guns.

Revolvers and shotguns are not in danger. Obama declares war to semi-auto rifles.

I suspect that San Bernadino driven carry gun panic will subside over the next few weeks. As for AR15s, I don't think that there is any risk of a national ban, but I have little doubt that California Democrat politicians will use it as an excuse to further restrict our rights in California. As long as they keep making gun control noises panic buying of modern sporting rifles and ammo is likely to continue for a while.

So far the ammo panic hasn't happened, but in a few months when people realize that Newsome's ballot initiative has gotten legs and will pass, then you're going to see empty shelves at Walmart.

As for gun panic buying, all the local stores near me have sold out of reasonably priced ARs. Asking the clerks, they all said it happened in the days following the Berdoo shooting. Also, look to websites like PSA and try to find a rifle kit. They're gone.

I think some have panicked but not everyone. Nationally, any gun control is a dead issue. In CA, wait to see what the legislature drums up, THEN the real panic will happen for CA folk.

Supply and demand. As the supply gets bought up prices will naturally rise.

Get ahead of the curve...buy ammo before it all disappears.

What if the worst happens in CA and everything semi auto becomes a RAW, unable to be resold?

Yes, which is to say that "assault rifles" will be banned outright in Kali probably followed by all semi auto guns.
