I was able to load up before the big new gun laws went into effect over the past few years but I would really love to get a Glock 29 and now that those are "illegal" along with all the Gen4's, what does everyone think will happen in the future?
I knew the gun laws were getting ridiculous but I never got the chance to pick up a Glock 29 for backpacking, especially when I bring my dog. I've been wanting to plan a trip up in the Warner Mountains in the north eastern tip of the state but I have read a lot about incidents and spottings of wolves in the area and I would like to be armed with power, while watching the weight.... Unfortunately I realized my choice of a G29 are long gone thanks to the new(ish) SSE Exemption law and I see that used Gen 4 Glocks are going for $700+ on here.....
I know Glock's company position was that we as residents of Calif. need to petition our government to fix the bogus gun laws, but my ultimate question here is, how long can Glock and other manufacturers hold out before they start to see their bottom line flop? California accounts for about 12.2% of the nations population and I am curious how long the manufacturers can hold off before losing the financial battle with the state? Any thoughts or opinions?
