Yep, the workplace violence angle plays better to the anti's agenda.

      Exactly.
This may be another "Patrick Purdy" like incident that ultimately led up to Roberti-Roos. Call what's coming "Roberti-2". The only mitigating factor (IMO) may lie in the ethnic identity and culture of the murderers, if public opinion should sway in that direction. The media will do everything in their power to lay this tragic incident at the feet of gun owners, ignoring or even rug-sweeping the above mentioned attributes.
We will just have to wait and see about the motivations and mindset of the murderers, if that ever even comes out fully.

I ordered some ammo today. May look at a new gun or two over the weekend. Was not originally in the Christmas budget.

Depends. More ammo available but the prices are still way too high. 22LR is always going to be tight during shortages because the profit margin is so low for the maker.

Maybe not quite like Sandy Hook panic but I think things are going to get bad here pretty quickly.

A guy at work is getting ready to purchase. We went to the lgs and he was going to purchase on Friday. I told him to take whatever cash he had and beg for a non-refundable deposit for the gun until Friday. That was yesterday.
I'm suspecting shelves will be bare very soon.

I think 2016 will be challenging regarding ammo/gun purchases. Not so much due to availability but I think gun control will be on the tongues of every democrat running for office.

Being that they were Muslim, I feel majority of people will tie this to terrorism. That being said, Its going to be tough for Obama to convince the American people that they should lay down their guns or convince them that we need more gun control. If anything, I believe America will only arm themselves stronger and grow a bigger backbone to fight the anti-gun agenda. That being said, I dont know if the anti-gun agenda will be a prevalent threat to us from this particular attack because I feel it will back fire on the politicians if they try to propagate that particular agenda due to this terrorist attack. Ive checked some major websites and their is still ammo available. Ive also checked LGS and the shelves were full in a larger city near me. Thousands of rounds of 223 were sitting on the shelves. Hopefully it stays that way.

Isn't this the first time for them to be naming the shooters as muslim so soon?

I expect after the witnessing this, what appears to be, random attacks, that most folks will realize the police cannot defend me or mine. Then go get something to shoot back with just to appease their mind they have done something positive.

Which is good because then they will ponder further their own lack of gun handling skills training and mindsets.

This is bullshyt to the highest degree. The guys name is Farooq Saeed, whose brother is the head of a muslim advocacy group, who went to Saudi Arabia to pick up his wife, who then made explosives in his garage, dressed up in black tactical gear, went to a Christmas party, killed 14 people and injured 17 more, who then led police on a pursuit, ultimately to engage in a gun fight that ended in his death, and Fucbama is calling this "workplace violence"
