Electronic Earmuffs/Ear Protection

I am looking for a good set of electronics earmuffs/ear buds. The kind that enhance quiet sounds, but "cancel out" loud noises (ie gun shots). There seems to be a lot of options out there, so I was wondering what brand/type you are all using? I would appreciate any recommendations or links to products!

I have the Howard Leight Impact Sports. The only complaint I have is that the muffs are a little tight on my ears around the edges It's not too bad, but if I could change one thing, it would be that. The cups are deep enough, but not large enough. Or maybe I have larger ears. I don't notice except for extended range trips where I have them on for a few hours without relief. Maybe their Impact Pro model would be better...

The volume is adjustable and they can be turned off and function just like non-electronic hearing protection. Power is turned off after a certain duration of non-use. Overall, I think they are good and would recommend.

Think of it like Larry Vickars does, "If you own a smart phone, there is no reason to come to one of my classes without electronic ear protection."

I always recommend pro-ears Gold. They are super comfortable, and their sound protection does not just "cut out" at the at a loud noise. Since the cheap ones just "cut out" when the output gets high enough, you still get a pretty loud hit of amplified noise before it cuts out, and then you have a second of full silence, makes it halfway impossible to have a conversation on a range, and you still get blasted by sound.

Pro-ears Gold actually compresses ALL down to a safe level, so you can still hear everything. And since it doesn't just cut out, conversations can be had much better, and you have better awareness of what is going on across the range.

I just got a pair of MSA Sordin Supreme Pro's and they are incredible. If you watch Amazon for them you can find them for $198 delivered. They're pricey, but they're comfortable and effective.
