I'll be staying up in Truckee(Donner Truckee area) the 3rd week of August. Any good places to go plinking in the area?

Seams like plenty of NF forest areas up that way. I pass through there on my way to a place in Grey Eagle about 45 minutes out of Truckee, and shoot up in/or shoot up the Plumas NF area around Gold Lake.
