Quick question on Metcalf Range

Hey guys,

Just a quick question before heading out. We just found out Metcalf is a bit closer than our usual range.

The wife only shoots handguns and I want to zero a red dot on a .22 AR rifle. I got a new handgun I'd like to shoot too. She likes us to shoot together especially on a new range.

Questions: Can I shoot a .22 AR on the pistol range? Are there 25 yard lanes near 10 or 15 yard lanes? Are the rifle lanes far from the pistol lanes?

I haven't shot there in about a year, but the last time I did, there were people shooting .22 ARs on the pistol range. The furthest four or five lanes to the left are 25 yards.

The rifle range is within 10 yards of the pistol range.

Essjay is correct.

i was there a few months back with my .22 ar on the pistol line.

.22LR is the only long gun caliber allowed on the pistol range

I think they allow all rimfire rifles on handgun ranges, not just .22LR.

Yes you can. She will love the .22LR AR, my wife does. Closer is better at first, she can hit the target easily to build up confidence.
