    Slip 2000

Hey all, Carcassonne was kind enough to share a link for a free sample of Slip 2000 a few months ago.

I'd like to read some reviews of this product. I used it on a new 1911 and an older AR last week and was very impressed.

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I am impressed as well, this stuff is amazing. You can really notice the difference. That little sample lasted quite a bit. I also lubed my lazy pal's bone dry AR.

I recently picked up a 4oz Bottle of Slip2000 gun lube from SKDtac. I am sold.

I've never tried the lube, but was not impressed with the carbon cleaner. I am a chemical junkie, so I will give the lube a try!

I use the hell out of it. It is very GTG.

In the absence of Slip 2000. I use 0-10 weight synth motor oil.

I have used Slip 2000 EWL oil and grease for years.
                        Works perfectly for me.

Vendor told me EWL is for heavy duty use, think MG's and full auto weapons. Slightly thicker in its consistency. Slip 2000 would do well for 98% of applications, EWL usually costs more.

I use all their products here. I like that none of it is petrolium based and is non-toxic, no smell.

The 725 de-greaser is used to clean gun parts before assembly. I remove any petrolium based coatings on new parts before installing them.

The Carbon Killer is excellent on bolts and barrels. You do need to let it soak for 5 minutes first.

The EWL is used on barrels, it's a thin consistancy so it does run or 'migrate' a bit. The EWL 30 wt. is used on the rest, thicker so it stays in place.

The excellent EWL grease is used on gas rings and trigger sears. It's also great on my semi-auto pistol slides. They slide like butter with that stuff applied.

I had a few issues with a several guns before I switched. With Slip those all went away.

I've been using Slip 2000 for years. It's very good, very slick.

I like the oil for reciprocating parts. I use a separate grease for slide rails.

The EWL is super slick but thinner. It's a pretty good candidate for AR bolts and I also use it on my KelTec Sub 2000 bolt (which is massive and slides inside a tube with not a lot of clearance all around). It works well for those uses.
