    Mag kit legality question

I know mag kits are OK, but is it OK to provide the mag kits with the firearm?

They are made for each other. Sort of like a hot dog and the bun...

As in, order a Browning Hi Power on line, take delivery of the gun AND two disassembled 13 round magazines at the same time, same package? I don't know the answer, just using the most "interesting" example for others to consider.

          Yes. It's fine.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

I bought a Glock with 2 15 round mags from out of state private seller. I had the seller disassemble them before shipping to FFL dealer for transfer. Local FFL refuse to accept disassembled magazines. Either he shipped them back to seller on my dime or some other option which I can't remember. I told him to donate them to the local PD instead. They have this policy on their website which I was not aware of then. From now on, all mag kits for me are shipped seperately from the gun if sending to FFL.
