You need a big bore handgun or "handcannon" 45 cal or bigger with minimum case length of 1.3 inches. So 454 casull or larger. This is a very practical handgun class, contrary to popular belief. Great for home defense and can be "easily" carried. No collection is complete without one.

If you want to become a master class shooter you'll need a good target 22 auto pistol, A 1911, an AR15 rifle and a semi-auto (or over-under) sporting shotgun. Try those, shot some competitions and then you'll be ready for the next level.

Any glaring holes stand out here?

A 4" Ruger GP100 would compliment your growing collection. Revolvers are fun to shoot and the GP100 soaks up the recoil from .357 magnums and also shoots the more economical .38 special.

Not that there's any big rush but I think you might want an AR ( because of the glut in the market, due to the last panic, now is a good time to buy one.)
if you don't like an ARs maybe in AK.

and maybe a 22 handgun like a old revolver a Browning pistol.

                        and more ammo of course

Another vote for a revolver along with a high powered rifle. GP100 or a 686 for a revolver, and a mini 14 is a really good choice for a ranch rifle.

you can reach out and touch somebody with a 5.56. The carbine wont come close to touching them
