This person is trying to sell one of his Sig 938s without disclosing the problem that he/she reported yesterday regarding one of them on CG. Also it's advertised as NEW. Thanks to Username: Sleighter. Here are the links:

IMO this isn't right at all. Another CG member posted this reference in the contributor's lounge, but I thought every member should see this.

For the record, I reported both threads to the moderators. I am sure they are aware, but mainly to let them know that this shouldn't be tolerated in my opinion.

2 issues: he didn't disclose the malfunctions he's been experiencing. Also, that gun obviously isn't new if he has been shooting enough to induce malfunctions.

reminds me of why i've never purchased a used gun...i know there are alot of great deals out there to be had, but there's also instances of people misrepresenting what they are selling

thing is, in this particular case, sellers problems are most likely an easy fix, might even be the grain of ammo and have nothing to do with the firearm...still, if it's enough to complain about here, it should also be enough for full disclosure when selling

I had the same problem with my P938. Every 40-50 rounds, the guide rod would come loose and start protruding through the guide rod port. And just like yours, the guide rod kept coming loose from the second piece it was connected to so, some Red Loctite was added and havent had any problems so far. It just makes me a little nervous cause that gun is my EDC and I dont like the idea of Loctite holding my guide rod together. I think Sig really fouled up on a 2 piece guide rod.

2 things.... first I owned two of these identical guns. One was a carry gun and one was not. As far as round count in this gun, I privately messaged the buying partied and told them the gun had been fired as well as round count.

Sorry I should have included taking a pic of both handguns. But I would want to see today's date with his username to prove this.

I realize I am calling him guilty before proving his innocence, but he has shown a motive and the timing is too coincidental.
