I love technology, and hobbies, and all that, but something about this new drone fad drives me nuts. I can't put my finger on what it is exactly. I guess it's that fact that any idiot with $200 burning a hole in their pocket can pretend to be a CIA-agent/Documentary-producer, while anonymously annoying the p**s out of everyone around them.

That said, "know your target and what is beyond"... and #8 birdshot sounds like a good choice Prepare to buy the idiot a new drone when they sue you. Worth it. Then rinse and repeat.

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I'd like to build a couple of kamikazes just to keep around for a one way mission.Accidents happen you know.Anyway I think it'd be epic especially if you could film the collision.

According to Popular Mechanics it can: http://www.popularmechanics.com/flig...-down-a-drone/

But, as highlighted in the article, a shotgun is still your best bet.

Yes. Drone to drone combat. Otherwise just fire off a barrage of warning fire. If the operator is close he will get the idea and park his toy.

                Story time-
A guy from work brought his new quad-cop out too show everyone. The drone took off, went 500' in the air and came straight down and exploded on the parking lot. Everyone was laughing except the drone operator.

Next week he comes back with a new drone. He called all the guys so they could watch his flying skills. Two of the guys were standing conspicuously by their trucks. The drone took off and as it reached 50' in the air the two conspicuous dudes pulled shotguns from the bed of the truck and unloaded. Poor little drone. This time the drone dissentigrated before It hit the pavement. Everyone was laughing hard. Good times

No you really don't own privacy. In all legal fact you have a "right" to very very little privacy and you do not have the right to deprive another person of property for use of AIRSPACE WHICH YOU DO NOT OWN.

If it's outside, it's not private. Are you going to shoot down low flying cessnas? Are you going to shoot down the keyhole satellites that look down on you every day?

Most free Americans would disagree with you. Do you live in L.A.?

No, just drones with cameras hovering over my property.

If drones get any more popular Im investing in a net gun.

over the years, of all the trespassers.prob hundreds. i have never had any one tell me where they live, so i could go through there property, ride my motorcycle,or let my dog or kids run wild...because we are not hurting anything. plus im sure the everyone carries $1 m insurance just in case they crash into power lines ,buildings or very expensive farm equipment ???
