That was a good read, I also like the definitions from the Virginia and Pennsylvania state constitutions that he included

That was a good, simple breakdown of he 2nd amendment and would be perfect for a young person just starting to think of these things or your adult liberal neighbor who has never listened to anything other than National Public Radio (NPR) or the New York Times.

I liked that it was concise. Most breakdowns I have seen go into several pages and ain't nobody got time fo dat especially when trying to get the millenials to read something important

Very good read, short, & to the point.

And yes, the Virgina Constitution was a nice touch (add).

Thanks for sharing that. Regardless however, people today either don't know or don't care that "Rights" supersede every form of governing entity and would not think to say "Enough is enough" and try to change things.

They point out something that people seem to have forgotten, which seemed to be the position that a large federal military was a bad idea.

From their quoting of the constitution of Virginia from 1776, this would be the piece immediately following the right to keep and bear arms.

"that standing armies, in time of peace, should be avoided as dangerous to liberty; and that in all cases the military should be under strict subordination to, and governed by, the civil power."
