I'm watching ESPN right now putting off a huge research paper. A fellow guy from Bakersfield really makes me proud. A quick quote: "Do I own a handgun? Yeah, I own a handgun. I hope that you have a gun, I hope that you're gonna protect your family because I'm definitely gonna protect mine."
I normally have little respect for the way most of these professional football athletes act off the field, but I have to say this was among the only times I've been absolutely impressed by an off the field action by any football player. What Joey Porter said was refreshing and needed. It's funny because the arrogant attitude that seems to flow freely from certain football players probably allowed Joey Porter to step up to the plate on this one. Although Plaxio Burress shooting himself while illegally carrying was a stupid move, my hat's off to Joey Porter today. I also saw a Carson Daly show clip (don't judge!) where they showed the Glock Fortay clip as they were making fun of Plaxio Burress. It's just as funny the first time.
PS: Don't sneak into Joey Porter's house in the middle of the night...
