    Paper Target Question...

Doing a little research for a friend of mine...

Are there any limitations to the type or size of paper targets ranges can use in California? If so, please cite the P.C. or appropriate code..

It might be FUD, but I was told that human sized targets are illegal.

    Thanks in Advance..

    Nope. None. Nada. Zilch.

Some ranges have rules against human-looking targets, but those are their rules at their private business and NOT law.
    Please read the Calguns Wiki
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

      OMG!

I suppose a particular range could prohibit their use, but there is NO law
      pertaining to their use.

Maybe because they are black we may see some action to make the color
more PC, but that's all I can dream up.

Nope, it's not against the law, but some ranges do not allow the use of targets that have a human form or head/torso on them.
