Has anyone ever turned a gun that was registered to them at a buy back?

desertjosh you were able to pick up a Beretta Jaguar model 71.
that's a pretty good score.
There are so many unreliable 22 semi automatic's out there & I think that Beretta has a better reputation.
if you look at the "users" on this wiki page ...
you'll see that the Israeli Mossad and Israeli special forces both use the Beretta model 70/model 71, and I think it was more than just training with .22s...
if you know what I mean.Comment

How much is the gift card for? I only ask, because MANY people on here would happily buy whatever gun it is in whatever condition it's in for the same price, regardless of value, just so that you don't give it to a buy-back program. Whatever the gun is, I'll buy it from you if you're local for $150, no questions asked.Comment

You'll go broke in that business good sir!Welcome to OT, where hypocrisy is King, outrage is Queen and the Kingdom is on the shores of the Denial River.

I feel like guns and cars share a commonality... if it runs, no matter what it is, there's an inherent minimum value. For a car, if it runs, you're basically guaranteed $1000 for it. For a gun, that value varies I suppose, but I'd likely pay $150 for pretty much anything that fires.
For $51 I'd bet TONS of people on here would've taken it off your hands, and as an added bonus it wouldn't have been melted down. Maybe it would've been someone's 12th birthday present. That is, either someone who just turned 12, or a 51 year old who already got 11 other presents.Last edited by CandG; 10-25-2015, 10:17 PM.Comment
