Oppressors can tyrannize only when they achieve a standing army, an enslaved press, and a disarmed populace. -- James Madison
The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms. -- Samuel Adams, Debates and Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 86-87 (Pearce and Hale, eds., Boston, 1850)Comment

I've worn this vest daily for 4 years now. It's not the most comfortable on the market, but it isn't too bad. Only reason I stopped wearing it was because I got a level 3 plate carrier from ar500armor.com. I wanted the extra protection and I don't mind the significant increase in weight. If you just need something for occasional wear, this vest really can't be beat for the money. Especially since it's a NEW vest and not some worn out old pos that some police department decided wasn't good enough to protect their officers anymore.

The type of vest and coverage depends on how you will wear it and how discrete you need to be....
A level 2 disappears while you wear a suit or even a loose shirt
The 3A PACA is a lot stiffer and bulkier so you would need more clothing to be discrete....
Even with a level 2, the bullet will be deformed/ expanded if JHP and slowed down should it penetrate.....
It's like anything else... A 44 mag would be great but difficult to carry and conceal.... A rifle would be better yet ... But difficult to conceal....
Second chance and PACA are both solid brands....Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
