Hey guys,
So I am currently working on my first AR build and am having trouble figuring out which buffer weight will yield the most reliable results. I have been scouring the internet for info but haven't found anything definitive yet and was hoping to get some feedback from your experiences. So far I've found that the heavier the buffer the better, provided your rifle will still function reliably and in contrast, going too lightly on the buffer weight could potentially wear out the parts faster. I'm looking at getting a Bravo Company 16" mid-length upper with about 50/50 usage of ammo in .223 and 5.56.
Looking at an H weight or H2 weight buffer with the research I've found so far, any suggestions?
