An actor staging a historical gunfight in the Old West town of Tombstone was shot with a live round during a show that was supposed to use blanks, leading officials to call for the re-enactments popular with tourists to be put on hold.

I distinctly remember this happening a couple years ago as well.....maybe not at Tombstone but another "Ghost town".......I even remember that the accidental shooter......turned out to have a felony record and was charged as such.

I do these type of reenactments and there is no reason this should have happened. Being late does not trump a safety check!
