    Tekmat cleaning mats

Does anyone else use these mats? I think they're pretty cool and buy them for any gun I get that they make a mat for. I'm just a bit concerned with how well they'll hold up in the long run to cleaning products and lubricants and such. Anyone have one they've been using for a while?

Like um! And at $15 ish it's not worth worrying how they hold up (IMO). You need something to protect your bench and the gun. At $15, I think they're meant to be ultimately be disposable. But my experience has been they hold up just fine. Been using one for a couple years and I think I've more than got my $$ out of it. And it should easily go for a couple more.

They hold up well. When they get dirty you can just toss them in the washer and dryer.

I don't use mine for cleaning guns. I just use it as my mouse pad for my computer

For pistols I just use the lid to a rubbermaid tube. It's oil proof and easy to clean. Also has a lip so parts don't roll away.

I like using the free cleaning mats I get in my mail box. After a few weeks you'll have a lifetime supply.

I get a yard or 2 of commercial-grade short nap carpet at HD and simply cut mats when needed. When they get funky from cleaning, they go in the garbage.

I just used an ex-girlfriends yoga mat and cut it down to size. Not sure how it will hold up against Hoppes #9 but will soon find out.

Mine eventually become one with the desk after leaving ammo or tools on them for too long. Scrape them off and deploy fresh ones.

I have a big wrap-around desk and have long guns on both sides and a series of pistol sized up front for mouse pads.
