    Tripods

Starting a new project and I think I want a tripod for it.

Ideally I think a MG42 AA tripod is the best way to go:
Flexible, and mounts available for different guns.

Problem is that they are pretty much out of stock everywhere I have looked.

Has anyone seen any for sale?

Other tripod options? Will need to support 20-30lbs. Maybe something I can mount my 1919 on too

    Thanks

Check on the subguns / bowers forum.

More liklely to find a seller on the class 3 forum.
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Sarco sells a Chinese 1919 type tripod. I've owned mine for several years and so far it hasn't broken.

This would probably work without the deuce tripod for smaller guns.

the sarco one seems like a good deal http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/stimuluspk...ripodassy.aspx,

what I wanted is something like the AA tripod:

and be able to use that picatinny adapter.

KNS does sell a picatinny to pintle adapter for the 1919 tripods.

the sarco tripod would be more correct to the 1919 anyways...

The tripod is fine but the T&E is so loose, all it does is hold the back end of the gun off the ground. A fellow on the 1919 forum generously tightened mine up for me so it is halfway usable now.

I haven't seen any responces to this so would like to get the Tripod topic moving again.

Looking for Tripod to use wit the KNS Spade Grips for AR-15 and connect to the pica-tinny rail. Any ideas??

blackburg, those Lone Star products are great, checking into them but they do look pricey...
