    the search is on!!

    i just got some new barrel blocks in and the did not have the rubber where the barrel goes does anyone have any ideas where to get some local??? thank you

    What rubber?

    Which blocks?

    My AR15 blocks and the ones for barreling a FAL don't use rubber. Just apply a little paint to the blocks, let dry (so there is some grip between the aluminum and the barrel) and go to work.

      the alum blocks from brownells and like some single sided stickey rubber that will hold up to abuse!!!

        Brownells' come with urethane cushions preinstalled.

        If you're using other blocks without a cushion, try some powdered rosin (sporting goods store).
