    Went to Trader's yesterday

Man what a difference. All the guns are gone; they have filled their pistol cases with holsters and accessories. The place was like a ghost town.

I read an article in the EastBay Express that had some rough stuff to say. I realize they are a liberal paper. But if half of it is true then they probably had it coming.

It sucks to lose a local gun shop though.

Traders is finished. No matter what some of the employees may say about adding this or adding that, it ain't going to happen.

The only thing keeping Traders open at this point is Tony's ego.

The East Bay Express did in fact taint that article to a "Brady" image, but, on the other hand not all of it was fiction.

Tony is shopping for an FFL to set up bussiness there in the store. Im not sure anyone would be crazy enough to do it but that would bring back Traders.

That will never happen. The City of San Leandro would have a cat and the fact that Tony has a business there cuts no ice.
I would bet that the B ATF would refuse anyone who even tried at that location or any other location that Tony owns.

He is already starting to let people go and I can assure you that if what you suggest was in any way liniment he would not let them go.

What happened to Traders? Can someone fill me in? Did they lose their FFL? What's the story? (Tried googling but haven't come up with anything yet.)

Haven't been in that store for a while, and while services was sometimes iffy, the selection used to be good, and some of the older guys there were nice and knowledgeable.

Ah, thanks, but of course. Sorry but just had a brain fart.

Stopped by there yesterday .It sucked to see all the guns gone. But at least they still sell ammo and safes there. Especially since some of the Walmarts stop selling ammo.
