    PSA website

Was about to log into Palmetto State Armory to buy some ammo when I noticed their site is not secure. Im using Chrome and firefox browsers and both show it is not secure . Anyone else seeing this when they go to the LOG IN page. The last time my credit card got compromised, someone bought plane tickets to United Emirates using my credit card. BofA refunded my money but I rather not deal with all the paperwork and getting a new card.

I just checked and they have a valid SSL cert until 2018.

the issue is that the cert was issued in 2013 with an SHA-1 based cert.

since then, Google and Mozilla have decided that even if a website has a valid cert, that they will show it as insecure if it is SHA-1 based.

Cross-posted on the Chromium Blog The SHA-1 cryptographic hash algorithm has been known to be considerably weaker than it was designed t...

Many of the certificates used by secure websites today are signed using algorithms based on a hash algorithm called SHA-1. The integrity of the hash algorithm used in signing a ...

I use an Am Ex for most online orders, which is pretty aggressive about protecting cardmembers.

Its not a date error, its that Google/Mozilla don't like SHA1 SSL certs.

I see Https in Firefox but not Chrome. No point in opening the hulking dinosaur that is Internet Explorer.
