3.5 years ago I made the decision to leave the Golden State and cross the border into Oregon (lived here as a kid, cousins live here, etc).
I kinda took a time out from the forums (can't even remember my old forum name) as I was now in the free state of Oregon and therefore my gun rights were all safe and secure (I'm joking) and I've recently been thinking a lot about how much information is shared here and promptly came back!
So just to let y'all know how it is in a free state?
Well I had to wait overnight for my latest purchase because there was a line of 24 ahead of me in the state system at 4:15pm. So I just decided to come back this morning.. Sometimes it can be as fast as 10minutes-to a few days depending on a few variables.
Guns here are EXPENSIVE! I cross check ads from down there or talk to someone I know.. Cali always has better deals!
We do typically have great customer service and they'll work to help you find what you want if they don't have it..we tend to have a lot of stock though and the used shops have some rarer items typically.
The food here sucks! Southern Oregon just got first In & Out burger in the state.. A month later the lines are still large to downright ridiculous...
Anyways I wanted to get myself back to "sharing" as I think we are going to be pushed a lot in the coming months specifically in regards to gun laws. I'm trying to be positive as Oregon has had its share of mass shootings and this state has been good at laying blame where it belongs, but this is getting nuts across the country.
