Not a bad way to process 50 brass

I have a large supply of 50 brass to clean up, and well I was dreading the 10-15 rnd loads in the standard vibrator. So I came up this this setup and with 25lbs of walnut "Bird Cage Bedding" and 10lbs corn cob "Rabbit bedding" from the local pet store, the results came out pretty good. I ran the amount of brass shown, about 250 pcs. Only 7 more loads to go!

That's the way CalAmmo does it also.....their mixers are a little larger. Throw in a half cup of brasso next time and they'll get real shiny! The brasso gets in the media and you won't need to add more for 3 or 4 loads.

this is totally random but my buddy works in a metal shop and they do polishing with ground up corn husks. apparently it works really well.

Quick tip: when you resize pics in MSPaint, make sure you're resizing the entire image, and not just the 'colored' part of the pic. The first and third pics look like you clicked on the corner and drug the pic smaller, but the canvas stayed the same size.

I wonder if I could find one of those tumblers on craigslist? I've been saving brass for a few years, and have a good supply of it tucked away in nearly every corner of the house, but still don't even have a tumbler.

I used to use the dryer to clean my .50 brass.

Stick everything in a burlap sack, duct tape that shut and put that inside an old pillow case.

Ah yes, the classic mixer method.
