Short version, NO as it's an SBR and an Assault Weapon by feature (less the 30" and pistol grip+detachable mag). Even in an NFA friendly state, you'd have to do the SBR thing.

IIRC it was a demo piece, and not a working gun with no firm plans to produce it.

        as shown, NO.

It is an SBR since the barrel is less than 16".

It would be an AW if it didnt' have a fixed mag due to the pistol grip, and would need to be 30" OAL.

ATF has ruled that those types of firearms are not AOWs if they look like guns when they are in firing condition.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

We got a kick out of it in January when Magpul demoed it at the SHOT show.

The flashlight part would be legal.

Seen that many times already. Ugliest flashlight I ever seen! Love how it opens like a Transformer. Too bad it's based on a Glock. Although, using a G18 would be rather interesting. Bet all the CA gun grabbers would wet their pants after seeing that thing.

Like he mentioned in the video, it's got room inside it if your Glock has the auto-sear.

Forgot to ask this, but obviously it's not going to be legal here in CA due to it being an NFA item, but would it be classed as a SBR or AOW? Seems to me it would be a AOW.
