In today's political climate, what's the best pro 2A organization to make regular donations to, beyond just membership? And as CA residents should it be a national or a CA organization? There's NRA-ILA, Calguns Foundation, and many more. I'd like to put my money where it would do the most overall good for the cause. What do you think?

Maybe you could expand on what you want your donations to do. Beyond "where it will do the most overall good".
Because that's pretty broad, I could make arguments for NRA ILA down to the local 4H or Boy Scout troop.Stand up and be counted, or lay down and be mounted... -Mac

Check out https://www.charitywatch.org/ (which requires membership for full access) or do an internet search for similar sites that rate various charitable (or non-profit) organizations. Whether its 2A, feeding the hungry or an organization that saves squirrels, always check THEM out before writing a check. It may surprise you how much money from every dollar goes to where you think it isn't..
Facts are to liberals as kryptonite is to Superman.

I trust the NRA-ILA to fight for us in Congress, preventing bad gun bills. Same at the CA Legislature for the CRPA Foundation.
Tops for lawsuits challenging bad gun law already in place is Second Amendment Foundation and CalGuns Foundation as well as the Firearms Policy Coalition.
Please educate me if I am ignorant, but I don't think Gun Owners has done much other than press releases and fund raising.Better Way to Search CalGuns - https://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=0...78:pzxbzjzh1zk
