Saw that Turner's had a S&W 625-8 .45ACP revolver for sale. Went to local store. They did not have it but another store did. Since I wanted to see/handle it before purchase they had it sent to the store. That took a few days. Went home and ordered moon clips and a device to make removel of the casings from the clips easier.

It makes sense to buy ammo, parts, magazines and such for guns you don't own yet if they are a very good price. Worst case scenario you can just sell them off if you don't ride not to buy the gun or you don't like it. I bought 38 super ammo for $6 a box of 50 a couple of years before I bought my first one the deal was too good to pass up.
