First I heard about this, is it real?

"Backdoor stealth legislation is the insidious disease that is eating at the heart of the American way of life. No wonder politicians never get to the business of the country. Even if we adopted the "one world order" so desired by some, wouldn't we still want the right to keep and bear arms.
Will the "One World Order" be so perfect that none of us will be victimized by the tyranny of a corrupt government? The sooner you lose your ability to defend yourself the sooner your property belongs to "the people". Maybe this is the "change" our country so eagerly awaits. If you really want people to be equal, give the 110 pound woman the right to defend herself against a 230 pound assailant or the father of three the right to defend his home and family against invasion and assault by psychopaths.
The following legislation is a finger in the face of the Supreme Court, it is a finger thrust through the fabric of our laws and it is a finger in your face. I personally find the pursuit of such legislation an act of treason against all Americans.
Handloading is more then some hunting fanatic working up the perfect load for shooting pigs on his ranch, handloading is the only way the common man can afford to shoot economically and supply his own needs in times of anarchy.
There are bills being pushed in 18 states to require all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacturer in a data base of all ammunition sales so they will know how much you buy and what calibers.
Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless ammunition is coded.
Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011 (including hand-loaded ammo).
There will also be charge of $0.05 tax on every round, so every 50 round box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!
If they can deprive you of ammo, they will not need to take your gun!
The 18 states where this legislation is currently pending: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington.
