sportsmans warehouse in Rocklin anyone been?

I was gonna be heading up to the sportsman's warehouse in Rocklin in the next couple of days. Has anyone been there? I didn't know there was one here. I almost made it to the store in Reno but didn't have enough time. Looks pretty promising.....

I've been there a few times, but not recently. I'll be heading that way tomorrow if you want to know how much they still have on the shelves before you make the drive.

I go there for my reloading stuff. They have good prices on powder. Store is clean and organized.

+1 on reloading supplies. Everything else is too high for me.

Place is nice. Their ammo prices are a tad high and it can be a bit of a pain to get help at the gun counter sometimes. Other than that it is a pretty nice place. Definitely one of the best selection of reloading supplies in the area. They also have a pretty good selection of scopes, and other fire arm accessories too.

i've been to the one in reno and i felt like a kid in a candy store! it's no bass pro shops or cabelas, but it's big enough. im an avid fisherman and their inventory is enough to drive you crazy! as for firearms and shooting supplies, they've got a pretty decent selection and ammo was average to a bit overpriced. i didn't spend too much time in the gun dept though..probably cuz i was in town for the big reno show.

Been there many times. It's an OK store, but I wished they could do a better job keeping reasonable .223/5.56 in stock. Everytime I go they seem to be out except for the expensive stuff.

Same, I thought maybe I smelled bad but it's just the service. There are a few guys who are very helpful but it's annoying to watch 3-4 stand in a clump bull****ting while customers wait at the counter. The ammo prices there have gone up as well, I was buying PMC 223 for 8$/Black Hills 22$ per 50 but not anymore. They do have 200 rounds of federal in stock for 90$ which is in line with Cabela's.

Large store with a good selection of fishing and shooting stuff. Some items are a bit overpriced, but I still shop there when I'm in the area.

Some items may be overpriced, but not as overpriced as Cabelas.

I was there a few weeks ago and they were wiped out of the reasonable priced ammo. The handgun selection has gone down since they first opened as well. Still a cool place though

i was pretty happy with them, and there wasn't really any ammo to speak of either. A lot of it had been picked clean, and there were a few employees just standing around shootin' the S**** but the girl that helped me was very polite and gave good service. I may be buying a couple of Taurus' from them if they're prices are good (A 66 in .357 and a 24-7 in .45). I'd be back, oh yeah I could see what you meant about the fishing section too! much closer than Cabelas too....

Their ammo and pistol and 'security' shotgun selection has gone done a great deal since the election they normally have a decent amount in I've noticed.
