    For sale section

Seems like guns are not quite moving as quickly lately.
I guess most already bought what they wanted last year.

    Maybe...maybe not.

AR prices reflect this. most sellers want too much for what they have and when this little fact is pointed out to them, they pull their ads down lol

I think it has a lot to do with people paying premium prices during the "panic", and trying to sell them at similar prices now.

I think it also has a lot to do with the current state of our economy...

I don't think that's why some are not moving. The good deals just don't last long.

I posted one up 3 days ago at what I believed to be a fair price, and I'm meeting a Calgunner tonight for PPT.

I bought my brand new P-01 earlier this year for the same price OTD as what some of the people were listing their used ones for in the marketplace, and that was including tax AND RENEWING MY FSC!!

Dey ain't moving 'cuz some o da' peepuls dun bumped dey head!

It's just that time of year. Kids back in school means additional costs, people paying off what they spent credit on over the summer, combined with many more similar people with these same problems looking to sell this time of year to fund the prior.

It'll all catch up come November for the holidays, hunting season, shorter daylight hours to do stuff that costs money (so may as well buy guns) etc., have a lull after that to catch up on expenses of Christmas - then pick up again in February.

That is unless Obama announces his plans for an "Executive Order" (or even a rumor therein) due to the Oregon shooting - and everything above gets tossed, panic ensues, people pull what they are selling en masse (creating further shortage) and lines at Turners Outdoorsman and Gun Shows are 800 people deep.
