This is one of the instances which makes me wish I was president. NJ & NY would both lose all federal funding until they did the following:
1. stop arresting people for transporting firearms
2. go back 50 years and clear everyone's name of whom they had falsely arrested
3. give back or bought the same firearm(s) they had taken from them and returned said firearm(s) to them
4. they would have 48 hours to do this or every politician in those states would be arrested by the DOJ and prosecuted under the RICO laws

I flew to Alaska last month and checked several firearms. The guy sitting next to me happened to see me do this and asked what the procedures were for flying with firearms. I went through the usual list: a. unloaded in a locked case b. ammo in original packaging c. declare at check in AND d. NEVER fly out of or into NJ or NY

You don't, they arrest you.

Might want to fix the spelling of the lady's name in the title - it looked like a big scam to me until I used the correct spelling to get more info.

Also, using the correct spelling of the subject of the post, will help prevent dupe posts being created by people who try and search before posting a new thread.
