What did the UCC shooter use?

Search as I might, I can find no report identifying what guns this nut used. All they say is handguns and a rifle, one report also said he owned a shotgun. The one picture where the nut is holding a rifle looks to me like he has a 10-22. That the press is not screaming about it makes me think he probably was not using an AR platform. Anyone else find any better information on what was used?

I can't remember where I saw May have been Breitbart but he had a Delton 5.56 and both a Glock and S&W .40. I'm tired of the news blasting these people's names and picture on the front page. Let them remain anonymous as to not inspire potential copy cats.

Media said all the firearms he had, also said handgun is what was used. That is what was reported by my local news stations. I have not researched any further.

Why could you possibly care? Let's leave the perverse jock-sniffing to the holes in the leftist media.

Because when the press call it an arsenal of 13 guns I want to know what they are. It's called good reporting.

                Per the NY Times:
[nut job], 26, killed nine people at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, where he was a student. He was armed with six guns, including a Glock pistol, a Smith & Wesson pistol, a Taurus pistol and a Del-Ton assault rifle, according to The Associated Press.

Also worth noting is that the Del-Ton wasn't used in the massacre, it was stored in another room the entire time.

Just in case you hear some pinhead leftist blab about evil black rifles.

They are following bummers marching orders. I keep seeing that all of his firearms were purchased legally so we must target legal gun ownership.

I've been seeing a few arguments of "Well Oregon wanted to ban FTF sales without an FFL but didn't have the votes, and the shooter COULD HAVE gotten them that way so clearly we need to ban that".

When the media can't even get the casualty report right, why would anyone expect them to get the weapons used right? It's a race to be the first to report regardless of whether the facts are correct. It'll always be "a glock and an AR type assault rifle" because it fits their agenda.

Stop focusing on the firearm. The make, model or caliber is not relevant. These people are dead because of a decision made by one person.

It's a mental health issue. Make no mistake about it. If these people were locked up at the first sign of their craziness, maybe the world of the a safer place.

Actually an experienced psychiatrist on one of the news channels was saying that most likely the shooter would not have failed any mental health evaluations unless he actually admitted that he wanted to shoot someone - and I believe this is probably true. The gov't also can't just force mental health evaluations on random people based on assumptions - this is still America, for the time-being. The mental health evaluations are also subjective to a certain degree.

People always look for simple solutions, but crazy people will continue to do crazy things. Some will be committed to an institution early enough to stop harm, and some will slip through the cracks.
