    Pays to THOROUGHLY inspect at FFL

    Found bent charging handle when inspecting M&P15T at FFL today - not happy.
    Fortunately it does not appear to have any damage - except for charging handle. I do not want to go through the HASSLE of returning the entire rifle, vs. just replacing the charging handle myself.

                          Correct - only info; no gun dealer, nor FFL name (counting as an anomaly for dealer and FFL is superb)

                                          What more do you want? He found a problem, didn't inspect it at the FFL, and is dealing with it on his own. It's not like he's accusing the FFL of bending the charging handle. It's a simple PSA type of thread as a reminder for folks to inspect their guns at the shop, even if they're brand new.

                                                      What do you mean who to look out for? Ok, even if I read the OP wrong and he inspected it at the FFL and found the bent charging handle there, he's not accusing the FFL of bending it. Why would he name anyone?

                                                          I dunno man, from your pictures, does that charging handle even seat with that gnarly bend in it? Something doesn't seem right here.
