Yet another way to build an AR from scratch.

I think this would be legal here in California.

Still it's a cool picture of man's creativity even with limited tools and materials.

the link to the short article is below.

cujousmc sent us this photo of his DIY AR-15 build. He writes …Pistol caliber AR.This is a from scratch build , fire control and rear stock and pistol grip standard off the shelf stuff.

    Here's a prettier weld-together AR lower kit.

Depending on how you apply some rather confusing aspects of the federal excise tax, that could be a considered as a "Zip Gun" and a felony to manufacture or possess. Please refer to Penal Code sections 33600 (for the penalty provisions) and 17360 (for the definition - with special attention to paragraph (c) for the federal excise tax provisions).

I saw one made from bolt together pieces that were CNC-machined.

It looks like a blow back design, closed bolt. Are blowback closed bolt uppers commercially available?
Looks like a soumi or sten bolt.
I like it. My welding isnt much better, I'm not sure I could do any better.

Plus it can interchange between 9 and 22.
