I have been using Fireclean for about 3 years and it has worked pretty well. But when my bottle got gummy, just like my cooking oil bottle - I suspected it was an organic vegetable oil.
Now there's proof. I only wonder why the Prof at U Arizona didn't use thin layer chromatography instead. I used that in Organic Chem lab and it was pretty precise.
