H&K armorers is the bay area

I'm looking for someone or a shop to perform some service to my USP45.

It needs to have a deep cleaning and I believe the recoil spring may need to be replaced as well (gun doesn't go into battery fairly often, and no I'm not limp wristing)

    Preferably in the east bay.

Ant suggestions and estimates on cost?

I'm just wondering why you can't detail strip it and replace a part that's part of field stripping?

USP recoil spring is a dual spring system. It's a closed system and I have no experience, parts, or the time necessary to do any of it. If it was as easy as slipping a spring off of a guide rod it wouldn't be a problem.

Also don't have the tools necessary for a detailed strip, and I'd rather not risk losing a spring or some other small parts

http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/Recoi...5-200p1161.htm for recoil spring replacement unit

as far as the detail strip its not needed unless something is broken. clp and compressed air.

but if you are a little bit inclined its rather easy

Call HK and order a new assembly. You can even ship the gun to them and they'll tear it down, clean everything and replace the worn parts.
